Boozoo – traditional cajun/zydeco tune

Boozoo – traditional cajun/zydeco tune.  Key of G.  Presented in three separate parts here.  Melody, Back-up tater-ing, and bass line.  The bass line would normally be played by an actual bass instrument, but I include it for your study here.  Find two other friends to play the other parts for a Cajun string trio!  …or, I’ll include different versions below for your play-along experimentation.  Cajun tunes like this are normally played with all the strings tuned down a whole step (FCGD).  This gives it a cool loose swampy vibe.  You do not have to re-think any notes when you do this.  Just pretend that you are playing in G (as written), even though the music will actually be coming out of your instrument in the key of F (be sure to tell the other musicians you are playing with though!).
