This is definitely one of the strangest tunes Django wrote.  I’m told it was the “B-side” of the “Nuage” vinyl record and is supposed to represent the horrors of war as opposed to Nuages cloud-like beauty.  My old Gyspy Jazz group “Babik” had both songs arranged for symphony orchestras to back us up …it’s quite a thrill to have a 100 piece back-up band!
