OK!  Long overdue, but as promised.  Here’s audio examples of 4 different mics and pickups that I’ve used in recent years.  Three of them I reviewed in the YouTube video “My Violin Pickup Explorations” (embedded here again for you).  I played the same riff each time and have also supplied a chart of the riff, in case your are interested in it.
