Gypsy Jazz Song by Django Reinhardt.  Classic Rhythm Changes tune. The audio demo version you will hear below is as it is often played live, with the scalar line in measures 7-8 being used for an intro and outro.  Here it is played once, then repeated one half step up, in the key of Ab, before bringing back down to G plus a rhythmic cadence, before going on the actual head.  I recorded the head as I play it live.  These melodies are always open for interpretation I think.
