I know… Reggae violin???  Haven’t heard of that before? …so????  If you love this rich style, then play it!  …on any instrument, including a violin!  And, do not let anyone tell you that you can not! …especially so-called Reggae experts!

There are many different parts that a violin can cover in this style: the melody, of course, but also the rhythm by doing the “chic-a” part near the frog or by chopping, or a violin can effectively cover the funky 8th note parts that are normally played by a clavinet too… it is just another form of tater-ing.

I do not expect this Reggae Violin Lesson list to be long, but it will grow.  I promise.
