Use these tracks to help “ear-center” your A-Toodz practice sessions.
Example: Working on the E minor Study?… at first play along to the E drone track without a beat, and when you feel that you are ready, try it with the beat-ed Loop version… too fast or slow for you?… save the Loop file to your computer and open it up in tempo adjustment software (like “RiffMaster Pro” available at a discount to FJi members here), or go more low-tech and simply play again with the non-beat drone track and add your own metronome.
Note: Though I have supplied the drone and Loop tracks for each key in the order that they appear in the A-Toodz book, these tracks are neither major or minor and only have roots and 5ths so, technically speaking, the tracks are identical here for E & Em, G & Gm, etc… Either way, I’ve laid them out for you below as you will find them in the book so you will not have to do double thinking and figuring, even though this makes some of the audio files duplicates.
Note #2: Here “drone” track = a single long tone with no beat or tempo for your use; and “Loop” track = a repeated androgynous guitar “power” chord and a steady, repeating drum beat to practice with when ready.
