OK!  Here’s one that, as usual, I started out kind-of just taking a voice memo to myself and I got on a roll and just kept going… It is what could become a whole course in and of itself, but here will be a good pre-course introductory study at least.  Playing with distortion on your violin can be a wonderfully expressive thing, but it can also be a big mess too!  There are many many subtleties to this subject, and it can get quite deep.  If you have any interest in Rocking Out, give it a listen.
