Here’s a quick video I did after realizing a super simple cool little fingering trick you can do to convert the G, D, or A major scales into their respective blues scales, just by sliding your hand up a 1/2 step! Member Bill Ferguson (lazydog) helped in the inspiration while at a private mandolin lesson with me (He’s now calling this the “Ferguson Method” ;~).

Do you have finger charts for all of the blues scales and pentatonic scales somewhere?
I would like to find them to help with learning all the blues scales.
Thanks,
Renee
Thanks for asking Renee. I do not have EVERY blues scale fingering chart available at this time (though it’s a pretty good idea!), but I DO have the 8 EZ Zone fingering featured in the Fiddle Jam Book all on one downloadable sheet in the school store for FREE.
Sorry I missed this Renee! Yes, though not ALL scales, I have a free download of the 8 EZ-Zones used in the Fiddle Jam Book, in the school store! https://fiddlejaminstitute.com/webinar/product/8-ez-zone-ifiddle-mag-free-download/
