I updated some of this info on the lesson “Moods of the Modes” for AAP members.  Usually I kind of “force” my private students to go through the paces to “earn” this knowledge, one step at a time, but here I jumped ahead a bit and just gave you the formulas for each mode as compared to a Major scale starting from the same tonic note “parallel-ly.” …I know, that’s not a real word in the dictionary… but it should be!  Check it out and let me know what you think!  I will answer your questions from the comments section.
