A Buffalo holiday classic.  I played and recorded with my friend LeeRon Zydeco (Ron Davis) on and off for 10 years.  My tenure with this band was an important part of my musical development for sure.  The experience definitely deepened my roots!

This video was done at the same time as my Deck the Halls video.  Both tracks were on the same charity CD.  I played violin and did some backup vocals, and I think, also played washboard and rhythm guitar on the track too.

Overall this arrangement is in Eb, but I always tuned down a whole step for zydeco, so I was thinking in the key of F.  Have fun!  See if you can pick out the melody by ear and play along.  Soloing can be done with the Eb blues scale (F if tuned down), but in general, I followed the changes with the major pentatonic scale of each chord as it passed.
