GDPR and the Fiddle Jam Institute

Hey all,

If you have interest in all this data privacy stuff swirling around the internet the past couple weeks, you can check out the particulars of your info and what the Fiddle Jam Institute does (and doesn’t do) with it by navigating to our privacy policy page here.

Otherwise, I’ll just give you the synopsis copied from the first few paragraphs of my official privacy policy here:

#1) I hate it when my stuff gets shared without my permission as much as you do.  I do not intend to ever knowingly share or sell ANY of your info for my profit or benefit in any way.  Ever.

By nature of the way websites work, some of your data, like any comments you leave on lesson posts, or info in your profile if you voluntarily choose to fill it out WILL get saved on this site in various ways.  If you have interest in any of the details on this, you can find them below.  Otherwise review #1 above and read #2 below:

#2) It would not be in my best interest to share or sell any of your data.  Your trust is vital to this website’s viability, so that would be just plain dumb on my part.  Don’t you think so too?

Again, if you want to check out the official info on this, just click here and let me know if you have questions or comments.  Thanks!

Sincerely,

Fitz

PS: if you are reading this via the Fiddle Jam Club newsletter, there should be unsubscribe options at the bottom each email sent from FeedBlitz (the folks who handle the sending of my email newsletter).  If you are reading this on the actual Fiddle Jam Institute website, you can readily contact me by any of the many comments forms I have placed on nearly every page and post! …including this one.
